Sealoflex is the trade name of a series of SBS modified bitumen products.
Each Sealoflex product is especially selected for its intended application.
All Sealoflex products have the following features:
- Low susceptibility to temperature changes:
R. & B. softening point of 90 °C min. effectively prevents high temperature distortion.
Fraass breaking point of –18 °C prevents low temperature brittleness.
- High elasticity:
Elasticity is based on elastic recovery whose values are extremely favourable.

Sealoflex based bitumen products are characterized by:

Cracks, tracks and washboard
Sealoflex based bitumen products ensure optimum mechanical strength (no tracking and washboard effect) and fatigue strength (no fatigue failure or induced cracking).
These products are ideally suited to construction and maintenance of heavy traffic roads such as motorways, highways, airport runways, freight yards, traffic light controlled areas, etc.

Draining bitumen products and splitt mastic microlayers
Draining bitumen and microlayers are high bitumen products. Using Sealoflex high bitumen products can be handled without having to use antidrip additives.
Sealoflex based draining bitumen and microlayers have higher mechanical strength than non-modified bitumen products.
An added bonus: exacting tests have proved that Sealoflex based draining bitumen products are significantly noise-deadening.
