As from the 80's the Volpiano facility near Turin, Italy, is heavily committed to an R&D and production programme addressing the requirements for modified bitumen and special emulsions.

Giachino Bitumi has gained extensive experience in the field of modified bitumen, having layed more that 50 million of square meters of material both in Italy and abroad.
